17093 (2025). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Associate Minister of Education: In response to Reply 15131 (2025), how many quality and nutrition spot checks, if any, have been conducted since the start of Term 1 2025, and what was the outcome of each spot check?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that, in line the Services Agreement, formal service reviews will take place from Term 2, 2025. Spot checks of meal quality and nutrition will be formally measured during school onsite visits. Suppliers and/or independent food experts will also be implementing quality and nutrition spot checks in a range of production kitchens across the programme.
