17090 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Health: How many specialist roles, if any, are planned to staff the new Dunedin hospital once built?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that this matter is under active consideration by Health New Zealand. As the Member will be aware, our Government has provided certainty to the people of Dunedin that we will build the new Dunedin Hospital inpatients building at the Cadbury factory site to futureproof the provision of timely, quality healthcare for the people of Dunedin and the surrounding Otago and Southland regions.
