17089 (2026). Chlöe Swarbrick to the Minister of Finance: What correspondence, listed by subject and date, has the Minister or members of her office had with any Treasury Deputy Secretaries on the Budget 2026 allowances?

Hon Nicola Willis: My office and I have frequent discussions with a range of Treasury officials whilst preparing the Budget 2026 package, including Deputy Secretaries. All of these discussions are relevant to the Budget allowances, as such I do not think it is in the public interest to release this at the present time. The Budget will be released on 28 May.
