17083 (2025). Hon Rachel Brooking to the Minister for Food Safety: What role, if any, will Danone play in developing or providing advice on New Zealand’s infant formula standards?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I am considering feedback from all infant formula stakeholders to inform my decision on the regulation of infant formula in New Zealand. The development of any potential future regulation of infant formula in New Zealand will be led by officials and will include appropriate consultation with stakeholder groups.
