17055 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the 2023/24 financial year?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was a departmental agency hosted by DPMC until 24 September 2025. I am advised the amount spent by DPMC and NEMA on the Carbon Neutral Government Programme in the 2023/24 financial year was a total of $18,444.
