17025 (2026). Arena Williams to the Minister of Finance: Will the Central Government be funding banks to administer zero interest loans to businesses affected by the fuel crisis as has been done in Australia recently; if yes, under what conditions?

Hon Nicola Willis: The RBNZ is responsible for lending to financial institutions, and they have advised me that they are not currently working on a plan to administer zero interest loans.
