17013 (2026). Steve Abel to the Minister of Agriculture: What advice, reports, briefings, aide memoires, correspondence or any other documents, if any, has the Minister, or any member of their Office received since 1 January 2025 related to live animal exports trade, listed by title and date?

Hon Todd McClay: To support bilateral relationships held with different international counterparts, I receive information from time to time on the trade and export of live animals. In terms of policy advice relating to relating to reinstating livestock exports by sea, none. Regarding the volume of correspondence I have received, it is not possible to provide a comprehensive answer to this part of your question within the timeframe for answers to Written Questions, in accordance with Speaker's Ruling 210/6.
