16974 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What is the current stock level of nitrous oxide held across Health New Zealand, further to reply 12086 (2026), and on what date is the stock confirmation referenced in that reply expected to be complete?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that Health New Zealand and its suppliers currently hold several months’ supply of nitrous oxide at hospitals and supplier sites. I am further advised that two shipments are currently travelling to New Zealand, with both expected to arrive in May 2026.
