16970 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Further to reply 12073 (2026), does "critical customer" status under the Fuel Response Plan 2026 apply to all St John and Wellington Free Ambulance vehicles, or only to those undertaking inter-hospital patient transfers?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that all response-capable vehicles that could be used to respond to emergency medical incidents are defined as critical customers under the Fuel Response Plan, sitting within Band A. I am further advised that health shuttles and medical alarm vehicles sit within Band C of the Fuel Response Plan.
