16967 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Further to reply 12084 (2026), what specific triage protocols, if any, exist for ambulance deployments if fuel supplies are significantly reduced despite prioritisation?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that if fuel supplies are significantly reduced, existing triaging of incidents will be enhanced so actual or potential threat to life or limb for patients is clinically assessed. If it is clear that an ambulance response is required to meet their health needs, an ambulance will be deployed.
