16964 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Further to reply 12079 (2026), are rescue helicopter operators themselves formally designated critical customers under the Fuel Response Plan 2026, in addition to being categorised as life-preserving services in Band A?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that emergency air ambulance helicopter services support search and rescue operations, especially when winch capability is required. These emergency air ambulance services are defined as critical customers in Fuel Response Plan 2026.
