16949 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: What reports, briefings, emails, memos, aides-memoire, notes or written advice, if any, has the Minister received from the Ministry of Education regarding the possibility of students having to learn from home in the event the government decides to raise the current Phase of the National Fuel Plan to 2, 3, or 4?

Hon Erica Stanford: I have not received any advice recommending a blanket or pre-emptive move to learning from home in response to Phase 2, 3, or 4 of the National Fuel Plan alone. Briefings I have received from the Ministry of Education outlining how the education system would maintain learning continuity if fuel disruption were to escalate under the National Fuel Plan are listed in the attached table. This is also my response to written parliamentary questions 16950, 16951 and 16952 (2026).
