16926 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Further to reply 12076 (2026), will Health NZ collect data on the number of funded home support workers who rely on private vehicles to reach clients, and if so, by what date?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that Health New Zealand does not propose to collect data on how many home and support workers use a private vehicle. The travel funding model is based on distance travelled and time taken, not on vehicle ownership.
