16924 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How many New Zealanders currently receive government funded home support services, and what proportion of those visits are delivered in rural or non-urban areas?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that approximately 75,000 people receive home service support funded by Health New Zealand. I am further advised that data showing the proportion of visits delivered in rural or non-urban areas is not collected.
