16879 (2026). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Does the Minister agree with Consumer NZ that a new safety standard for corded window coverings is a relatively straightforward thing to introduce, and if so, will he undertake to do it?

Cameron Brewer: I am currently considering advice from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment on corded window coverings.
