16853 (2026). Hon Marama Davidson to the Minister of Conservation: How many roles, if any, came to an end following the closure of the Jobs for Nature programme?

Hon Tama Potaka: The Department of Conservation was responsible for the allocation of $485m within the wider Jobs for Nature programme. They have advised me that during the time limited five-year programme a total of 7,103 people were employed. However, employment data was not collected from organisations once the programme had ended.
