16850 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Housing: Where are Kainga Ora currently tracking on their target to 'Reduce infrastructure emissions by 0% by 2029/30 compared to 2022/23'?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me it is on track to meet the measure to reduce infrastructure emissions by 30 percent by 2029/30. In 2024/25, embodied emissions from infrastructure development were 8,277 tCO2e, a 54 percent reduction from the 2022/23 base year level of 18,089 tCO2e.
