16848 (2026). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister of Finance: Further to question 44006 (2025), How many ex gratia payments has the Natural Hazards Commission made each month in the past 12 months (and the total monthly dollar amount) other than in respect of the “on sold” programme?

Hon Nicola Willis: I refer the Member to the attached table. These ex-gratia payments are made to settle potential liability, to reimburse costs and fees, and to pay other costs, including temporary accommodation. I am advised that this data excludes payments related to the On-sold Programme that are not covered by the On-sold Services Agreement (e.g., temporary accommodation for On-sold applicants).
