16823 (2026). Arena Williams to the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Does the Minister believe the Commerce Commission has sufficient enforcement powers; if not, what changes are needed?

Cameron Brewer: The Government is updating the Commission’s enforcement powers through the Commerce (Promoting Competition and Other Matters) Amendment Bill, which is currently before the Economic Development, Science and Innovation Committee.
