16762 (2026). Hon Dr Megan Woods to the Associate Minister for Energy: Further to WPQ 11403 (2026), please provide an itemised breakdown of the $42.289m total expenditure relating to programmes funded by the petroleum or engine fuel monitoring levy in 2024/25?

Hon Shane Jones: The breakdown is as follows: • $33.165m for oil ticket procurement for compliance with oil reserve obligation under the International Energy Agreement (including technical advice) • $4.95m for EECA’s programmes on low emissions transport • $3.1m for fuel quality monitoring • $0.997m for information dissemination, including reporting to the International Energy Agency • $0.077m for emergency planning and management.
