16752 (2026). Vanushi Walters to the Minister of Finance: Who initiated New Zealand's participation in the joint statement issued on 16 April 2026 calling for a ceasefire in the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran, and when was she first approached to sign?

Hon Nicola Willis: His Majesty’s Treasury from the UK reached out to my officials on Tuesday 14 April with a proposed draft statement, on which we provided both feedback and confirmation of New Zealand’s support.
