16493 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for National Security and Intelligence: What consultations did the Minister’s departments, if any, open on the week beginning 31 March 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and how many roles were affected?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a departmental agency hosted by the DPMC. I am advised that no DPMC or NEMA staff that respond to requests received under the Official Information Act 1982 as a core part of their job description have lost or been restructured out of their roles within the specified timeframe.
