16459 (2025). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Housing: What consultations did the Minister’s departments, if any, open on the week beginning 31 March 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and what date are any such consultations expected to close?

Hon Chris Bishop: The Ministry of Housing and Urban Development did not commence any consultation processes in the week beginning 24 March 2025. I am advised that Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities started consultation with staff on proposed organisational changes on Thursday 3 April 2025, as part of the reset of Kāinga Ora. Consultation is expected to close at 5pm Tuesday 22 April 2025.
