16432 (2026). Mike Davidson to the Minister of Local Government: Since October 2025, how many city, district or regional Councillors have written to the Minister with a complaint or concern regarding the Council they are elected to, and if any, what Council were they elected to, what was their complaint or concern about, and how many of these complaints or concerns has he addressed by written response to the complainant's Council and/or Mayor of Council?

Hon Simon Watts: As the Minister for Local Government I receive a significant amount of correspondence related to my portfolio. Given the breadth of the question and the significant amount of work it require take to compile the response it is not in the public interest.
