16404 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for ACC: What are the technical criteria for funding and resource allocation to districts, if any, for the implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Care Pathways Musculoskeletal programme for arthritis?

Hon Scott Simpson: Every district has Integrated Care Pathways Musculoskeletal services operational for eligible clients with post-traumatic osteoarthritis of the knee or shoulder. The eligibility criteria is outlined in the service schedule, available here: https://www.acc.co.nz/assets/provider/icpmsk-service-schedule.pdf I further note that suppliers allocate funding based on the needs of the client identified and assessed through triage assessment, in accordance with the funding provisions outlined in the Service Schedule.
