Hon Mark Mitchell: As the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, I regularly request and receive advice from officials on matters relating to my Emergency Management and Recovery portfolio. I received the following documents from officials in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the Chief Executive, Cyclone Recovery (CU) between 31 March – 4 April 2025: • Key messages for Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery roundtable with ethnic service providers – Auckland, 5 April 2025, 31 March 2025 • Fortnightly Status Report to the Minister for Emergency Management and Recovery, 4 April 2025 In addition, I also received four documents within the specified timeframe. It is not in the public interest to release the titles of these documents. In addition, staff in my office may informally receive documents, including draft documents from officials in NEMA, CU and the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and from other agencies, and from Ministers’ offices.
