16336 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Space: On what date, if any, did the Minister or her office learn of the reasons for the delay to full data transmission from the MethaneSAT satellite, and the delay of its handover to the University of Auckland?

Hon Judith Collins: I was first advised by officials of a likely delay in transfer of the mission operations control centre to the University of Auckland in February 2025. Officials have been providing me with updates on the mission, including the data pipeline, since launch in March 2024.
