16301 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: Which iwis, hapū and Māori organisations did the Minister consult with regarding the RMA changes, if any, listed by name and date of consultation?

Hon Chris Bishop: I have interpreted your question regarding "RMA changes" as relating to the replacement of the RMA in this case. I discussed the replacement of the RMA at a high level during a hui with Ngāi Tahu which I attended on 5/6 February 2025. I also met separately with Pou Taiao and Te Tai Kaha on 27 February 2025 where resource management reform was also discussed.
