16299 (2026). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: How, if at all, does Health NZ intend to verify and monitor the employment and economic benefit claims made by providers in their proposals?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that the commercial process is underway, which will include assessing private providers' workforce capacity, as well as economic benefit.
