16273 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister for Whānau Ora: Does the success of iwi organisations in the process for Whānau Ora commissioning agency contracts to date reflect a view, if any, on the part of the Government that Whānau Ora services should be delivered by iwi?

Hon Tama Potaka: I refer the member to response to PQ 10171 (2025) which summarises the procurement process that led to the selection of incoming commissioning agencies to provide Whānau Ora commissioning services. As the member can see from my response to PQ 10171 (2025), the selection of incoming commissioning agencies following the procurement process run by Te Puni Kōkiri reflects how those incoming commissioning agencies responded to the Request for Proposal.
