16108 (2026). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: In response to Reply 8007 (2026), has the demand reduced for Specialised school transport assistance (SESTA) in any regions across the country since January 1 2026; if so, where and by how much?

Hon Erica Stanford: I am advised that the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) does not collect or report data on reduced transport provision on a regional basis. However, based on available information, the Ministry has not observed a reduction in overall demand for Specialised School Transport Assistance services. Demand for this service continues to be driven by verified student eligibility and need.
