Hon Penny Simmonds: The Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) has provided the attached information on the number of enrolments for nursing (leading to registration) in the 2020-2025 academic years. I am advised by TEC that tertiary education organisations (TEOs) receive bulk funding for courses delivered up to the value of their allocation, plus any eligible over-delivery payments (such as flexible funding). Course enrolments reported receive funding at variable rates, depending on the nature and level of the provision, and the courses delivered throughout the year can differ from the intended delivery.
