16099 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister responsible for RMA Reform: Will iwi, hapū and Māori stakeholders be consulted by the Minister regarding the RMA changes, if yes, listed by who and when?

Hon Chris Bishop: I have directed officials to undertake engagement with PSGEs and other Māori groups regarding upholding Treaty settlements and other arrangements - for example, arrangements under Takutai Moana legislation.
