16091 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, will the Minister take to address the inequities in disabled people’s health?

Hon Simeon Brown: Our Government has brought back health targets that are tightly focused on putting patients first. The removal of these targets under the previous government led to worse outcomes for patients in our communities, including disabled people. My expectation is that performance improves to reduce wait times and ensure access to timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders.
