16090 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Associate Minister of Health: What actions, if any, will the Minister take to address and meet the health needs of the rainbow community?

Hon Matt Doocey: Like all New Zealanders, rainbow communities need timely access to quality health services, health services that are inclusive and welcoming, choice over services, clear information, and a health workforce that understands and can meet their health needs. The Government Policy Statement on Health 2024-27 sets out the Government’s expectations for the health system.
