16083 (2025). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Health: What actions, if any, will the Minister take to ensure ultrasounds and radiology services in Taranaki are carried out in a timely and accessible manner?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that as part of our Government's focus on ensuring access to timely, quality healthcare for all New Zealanders, Health New Zealand is taking a number of actions to reduce wait times, including triaging of waitlist by a radiologist and maximising capacity through outsourcing image reading contracts.
