16020 (2025). Dr Tracey McLellan to the Minister of Corrections: What modelling has he seen, if any, regarding an increased prison population and the impact to Corrections resources?

Hon Mark Mitchell: Further to the information provided to you in WPQ 66412 (2024), I have received three further briefings that contain information within scope of your question. These are: • B4791 Long Term Network Configuration Plan - Request for approval to draft a Cabinet paper; • B4897 Cabinet Paper on Long Term Network Configuration Plan for lodging; and, • B4799 Draft Cabinet Paper and Detailed Business Case: Christchurch Men’s Prison Redevelopment Programme for Ministerial Consultation I also receive regular updates from my officials on a range of matters, including via regular meetings and my weekly report.
