16005 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Associate Minister of Transport: How many litres of LPG, if any, did the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, consume to power or heat buildings in 2025?
Hon James Meager: MNZ: Maritime NZ does not own any buildings and leases all of its office tenancies. Maritime NZ’s National Office in Wellington consumes a combination of electricity and LPG. However, it is one of a number of tenants in the building. TAIC rents a floor in an office building and a warehouse premise for wreckage storage. The energy consumption relating to leasing of these buildings, that is paid directly by TAIC as a tenant, is 100% electric. CAA: Nil
