15821 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: What are the 44 recommendations of the Royal Commission into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions that will be jointly led by Oranga Tamariki?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that they are actively engaging with the Crown Response Office to contribute to the Government’s response to the recommendations made in the Royal Commission into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions reports. Agency responsibility for individual recommendations remains under active consideration and it is not in the public interest to release the information at this time.
