Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Economic Growth: What consultations did the Minister’s departments, if any, open on the week beginning 24 March 2025 with employees around any changes to employment roles, employment numbers and any other employment conditions, and what date are any such consultations expected to close?

Hon Nicola Willis: I am advised that the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment currently has two ongoing consultations. One within its Corporate and Digital Shared Services business group where fifteen roles (including vacancies) are proposed to be disestablished, and eleven new roles are proposed to be established with the potential for a reduction of four roles. The second is within its Strategy and Assurance business group where eight roles (including vacancies) are proposed to be disestablished, and four new roles are proposed to be established with the potential for a reduction of four roles.
