15526 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Foreign Affairs: How many litres of diesel, if any, did the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, consume to power or heat buildings in 2023?

Rt Hon Winston Peters: I am advised that the Ministry does not use diesel to power or heat buildings, other than when generators are required. In 2022/23, the Ministry used 45,514 litres of diesel in offshore generators. For Antarctica New Zealand in Christchurch, the answer is none.
