Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Land Information: What was the composition - in percentage terms - of sources of energy consumed to power or heat buildings, if any, in the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, in 2020?

Mike Butterick: In 2020, Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) consumed energy to power or heat buildings as follows: the Hamilton and Christchurch offices were powered by 100% electricity; the Wellington office’s energy consumption comprised approximately 85% electricity and 15% GAS.
