Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Environment: What was the composition - in percentage terms - of sources of energy consumed to power or heat buildings, if any, in the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, in 2023?

Hon Nicola Grigg: Between 2020 and 2025, electricity accounted for 100 percent of the energy used to power or heat buildings occupied by the Ministry for the Environment and the Environmental Protection Authority. No other energy sources were used for this purpose during this period.
