15331 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What specific actions has Health New Zealand taken to recruit a paediatric palliative care specialist, beyond job advertisements, since 1 January 2025?

Hon Simeon Brown: Access to paediatric palliative care is a key part of ensuring children and their parents can get the care they need at an incredibly distressing time for families. I am advised that Health New Zealand had an internal enquiry for specialists with experience in paediatric palliative care.
