15329 (2026). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Health: What was the composition - in percentage terms - of sources of energy consumed to power or heat buildings, if any, in the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, in 2024?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that for the 2024/25 financial year, 100% of the Ministry of Health’s buildings were powered by electricity sourced from the National Grid. Of those buildings, 14% were heated by compressed natural gas and 86% heated by electricity. For Health New Zealand, I refer the Member to Written Parliamentary Question 15320 (2026).
