15329 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: On what date did Health New Zealand amend the job advertisement to specify that an experienced paediatric palliative care specialist was required?

Hon Simeon Brown: Access to paediatric palliative care is a key part of ensuring children and their parents can get the care they need at an incredibly distressing time for families. I am advised that the original job advertisement contained an incorrect position description, which was corrected on 24 March 2025. As Minister, I expect Health New Zealand to accurately advertise the roles it is recruiting for.
