15324 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: Has Health New Zealand made any international recruitment efforts to fill the paediatric palliative care specialist role, and if so, what have they involved?

Hon Simeon Brown: Yes. I am advised that Health New Zealand have advertised the vacant Paediatric Palliative Care Specialist role through international networks to help deliver access to timely, quality palliative care.
