Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Trade and Investment: What was the composition - in percentage terms - of sources of energy consumed to power or heat buildings, if any, in the Minister’s department’s, agencies, crown entities or any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, in 2025?

Hon Todd McClay: For New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, I am advised that as of the 2025/26 FY every New Zealand Trade and Enterprise leased or occupied office space is powered and heated by electricity. Invest New Zealand is co-located with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Nelson.
