15262 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Education: How, if at all, has the manner in which on-time delivery of school lunches is measured changed over the last 3 years?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised by the Ministry of Education (the Ministry) that prior to 2025, on-time delivery was not reported daily. Previously, any feedback regarding the delivery of meals was provided to Ministry officials directly by schools. From Term 1 2025, the School Lunch Collective Model proactively provides on time data based on GPS transportation information from drivers delivering meals throughout the country. This daily reporting is unique to the School Lunch Collective. For other external suppliers in the programme, any delivery measurements continue to be provided to Ministry officials by schools.
