15229 (2025). Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Associate Minister of Education: Was the Minister informed that Ministry of Education officials believed there was a risk that Libelle could fail to deliver at the $3 cap before the contract was awarded to the School Lunch Collective; and if so, did the Minister raise any concern with officials about that provider being awarded the contract?

Hon David Seymour: I am advised the Ministry of Education was not aware of any risk from Libelle as delivery and meeting the required Service Levels is the responsibility of Compass Group NZ as the lead supplier for the School Lunch Collective. Any information shared between Compass and their sub-contractor, Libelle is commercially sensitive.
